We opened up the entire front part of the house to create this great room which houses the kitchen, dining and family gathering spot. An added skylight, a new beautiful bay window and a custom made glass panel dutch door introduce plenty of additional natural sunlight. The bright white cabinets, and sparkly white counter add to the sunny feel and lend a contrast to the soft grey floors. The country style dining table serves as the center hub of the space and provides ample family seating.
The country style dining table serves as the center hub of the space and provides ample family seating. The quick island return caters to the early morning cup of coffee or the chat with the cook in the kitchen. The stools give a nod to the industrial flair that is introduced by the chunky Bertozzini stove and the high, modern faucet.
Stainless steel appliances flank the simple shaker style cabinets. The upper glass panels in the doors, as well as in the china hutch add a soft cottage feel and allow for showcasing personal items. The classic Shaw apron clay sink nestles perfectly in the new bay window.
The impressive Bertozzini stove invites simpler times. The all gas appliance is devout of the now so common digital displays and electrical confusions. Simple and sturdy, it compliments the clean lines and the industrial flair. The translucent soft blue/green backsplash reminds us off the crystalline waters of the ocean and it adds a pleasant color pop to the all white scheme. The white quartz countertop sparkles in the sun with the small embedded mirror and grey shiny fragment pieces.
Overall, this bright and inviting space serves as a wonderful family gathering place. The cheery and bright cottage style is accentuated by bold, modern appliances, and grey industrial touches to give it a modern, fresh look.
in addition to the kitchen remodel, we also added a front and back porch to the existinghome. These architectural elements added importance, style and functionality to the house.
The new front porch elevates the facade and emphasizes the entry area. It also provides casual seating for visitors and friends.

The pergola in the back serves as a nice, shady place to look over the garden and enjoy the morning sun.
