Mindful, elegant and soothing, this bathroom invokes the feeling of deep peace and familiar calm. The soothing grey/white color palette of this large master bath is contrasted by the navy blue vanity that dominates one side of the room. With ample space, a splash of natural light from a large skylight above and the soothing color palette, this bathroom embraces your day with its tranquility and soothing stability.
We enclosed the existing atrium to create space for a large shower and a vanity with plenty of storage. An oversized fresh air skylight provides natural sunlight and ventilation for the room.
The navy blue vanity provides a grounding contrast to the light and soothing grey/white color scheme. Honey bronze pulls accentuate the deep blue vanity doors, thus adding an elegant twist to the design. The long vanity provides ample storage that includes a cubby for towels and a hamper, as well as a tall storage cabinet pull out above.
Classic Calacatta tiles soften the oversized shower and give it an elegant and inviting look. In order to break the expanse of white, the soap niche is decorated with small blue to grey glass tiles.
One of the main ideas was to integrate the master closet into the bath room. We created a hall into the space. To the right, we built a useful linen cabinet, and to the left we created a large master closet that can be accessed through the bathroom. The nostalgic stain glass window found a place inside the closet. It provides light inside the space, as well as it serves as an interesting focal point int he entry hall.
There is always room for fun decor. These floating shelves are located in the toilet stall.
Clean lines, a soothing color palette and well thought out decor items give this bathroom its soothing, and calming, but yet a creative and unique feeling.
